Congratulations to Thomas Bracht

We congratulate Dr. Thomas Bracht on completing his doctoral studies and earning his Dr. rer. nat.!
Yesterday, Thomas officially received his doctorate in a ceremony at the University of Münster, where he completed his studies. His thesis, Theory of Advanced Excitation Schemes for High-Fidelity Photon State Generation from Quantum Emitters, summarizes the work he has done over the past four years.
During his PhD, Thomas published numerous papers on topics like the SUPER scheme, optical excitation of quantum dots, the reappearance of Rabi rotations, the dynamical Mollow triplet, and time-bin entanglement. Many of these were in collaboration with experimental colleagues from Innsbruck, Munich, Berlin, and Paderborn.
Some highlights of his PhD journey include participating in the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, giving an invited talk at the OPON conference in Wrocław, and being invited to speak at this year’s spring meeting of the German Physical Society.
We wish Thomas all the best for the future!
